Domaine Pierre Martin

Pierre Martin is the 4th generation to take charge of the family legacy, assuming control from his father in 2004. Yves (who is semi-retired) is still alive, but this is very much Pierre's show now, with a working total of 18 hectares. With such limited production, the wine is aged in five year old 300 litres hogsheads. in comparison, the vines that cling on to the south-facing and impossibly steep sloped La Côte des Monts Damnés range from eight to thirty years old. here Martin works 0.80 hectares and conversely this is aged in a stainless steel tank.
